Ptarmigan Village is located in the northwest corner of Montana, above the resort town of Whitefish and two miles below Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort.  The Village is located in a quiet cedar forest on 52 acres.  We feature a number of condos and homes for vacation rentals at very reasonable prices.  Each is individually owned and decorated. All of our condos and houses are completely furnished so that all you need to bring with you is food and clothing. 

We recently completed a brand new indoor pool building and an outdoor hot tub. We also have an outdoor pool which is open during the summer months.  From your doorstep you can take off and wander through the woods or stroll to Elmers Pond and cast a fishing line.  Our beach at Whitefish Lake, which is a 10 minute drive from the village, is a great place to swim, picnic or watch a fabulous sunset.  It is open from spring through fall.  Glacier National Park, a must see, is just a 30 mile drive away.
