The condo was well stocked and in a great location in the complex. We loved being able to run up to the outdoor hot tub so close to the condo. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a Christmas dinner. The only suggestion we might make is an upgrade to the mattresses in the bedrooms - the plastic covering on them made for very hot nights.

We had a great stay! Close to the ski hill, the pool and hottub were just across the road for the kids. The place was clean, when we called for extra linens, they accommodated right away.

place was easy to find and a great place to bring the family, the indoor pool and hot tub were awesome as it allowed for me to sneak out to the hill for some boarding (4 min drive) while the rest of the family went for a swim. highly recommend as a place to stay for any Whitefish trips.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ptarmigan Village. Beautiful accommodations and conveniently located near the slopes and downtown Whitefish! Highly recommend to anyone that wants to have a great vacation in Whitefish!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful location location, great amenities, all the comforts of home. very clear communication on checkin and expectations on check out. It was a perfect location to spend Thanksgiving. My only complaint is that there was no heat in the main/master bedroom, its winter in Montana with lows in the teens, thankfully we had brought a space heater just in case, but some may not and it could get uncomfortable for people. Overall though it was a great place to stay and we would book again

It was the perfect cozy getaway spot after a day of adventuring in Glacier The condo was spotless and well set up. Even the common areas like the pool and hot tub were well maintained. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding was so soft my partner wanted to find out the brand so we could get it at home. Having a place with a kitchen was essential for us. The fact that we could get a cozy clean place with plenty of space for two for less than a typical hotel was an absolute steal! We had to email the hosts to get the Wi-Fi password so we were without Internet until our 2nd day. They were quick to respond but with the cell signal so spotty in the area we really relied on that connection at the end of the day. I wish it would have been more readily available.

Lovely condo The condo was so cozy and comfortable. We cooked most days in the well-furnished kitchen. We enjoyed being away from the town and we walked and visited the pool and jacuzzi. Saw a young bear and a fox and many deer.

Loved swimming in Whitefish Lake!!! Relaxing!! The cozy home feel and the ease of checking in after hours. The friendliness of Patty and the true felt helpfulness. Some outlets didnt work and the first place didnt have a washer dryer in the unit. It was so much better to be able to do laundry at the unit when relaxing, making dinner and the kids having down time.

Beautiful place to stay and relax. We would say a 10 isnt out of the way for this place. The house well equipped with coffee, dishes, laundry detergent, lotion, soap and everything you need in home. The location was ideal but hey we wont complain cause we loved the peaceful atmosphere and nature.

A short trip that convinced us that we need to come back... as often as we can. Our one bedroom apartment was amazing! I wasnt expecting it to feel like home. There were full sized toiletries for us to use, beach towels, and a pretty well stocked pantry. We (my husband and I) only stayed a few nights, but would honestly live there long term if we could. Our "neighbors" owned the building and were instant friends. They were so kind and helpful and their pup, Ranger, was a delight. The private beach at Whitefish Lake was a perfect get away from the crowds. It must have been the day of the week or time of year, but there were only two other boats on the lake when we were kayaking and the water was crystal clear. My only complaint was that we couldnt stay longer for free and skip work for the next week ;) . We will definitely return. The laundry room was out of order, but they were renovating it so we cant be that upset. Looking forward to using the new machines when we return. Honestly, we loved everything about the village. Ptarmigan is always our favourite place to stay when were in Whitefish! This space worked great for our family and we would definitely recommend this place. Just something for guests to be aware of that while well stocked, one thing that we wish they had was a kettle or a proper coffee maker; there is only a keurig machine. While some people might like that, there were no supplied k-cups which was a disappointing discovery when we arrived late at night and realized we wouldnt be having coffee in the morning (we brought ground coffee expecting a coffee maker). When we asked about a kettle for heating water, we were told we could use a pot which is definitely inconvenient. Neither of these things would keep me from returning but just helpful to know so you can come prepared!

Its a cute place halfway up the mountain in a quaint condo village. We had everything we needed, and the place was super cozy. Would definitely stay here again in the winter but going up and down the hill every time we wanted to go into town got a little tedious if youre going to be eating out a lot downtown. Overall great say and an adorable condo!

We shared the condo with another family (4 adults and 4 kiddos). Its a little small, but was totally sufficient for the two nights we were there. The pool/hot tub area was fantastic, and definitely worth having for the kids to blow off some steam. Its what we were expecting and was a decent value for what we paid.

This is the cutest village. Close to town but yet with amazing views. Loved having the amenities but with the home feeling of a condo. The office was super helpful with all of our needs. The grill on the back deck was a nice touch. Highly recommend!

They provided Bear spray! The space was well thought out, spacious, and had quality furniture. I appreciated the bowl chair while watching TV. All the bathrooms were extra clean, and the towels were soft and thick. The shower pressure was strong and refreshing after a long day of hiking. No toiletries provided though. Be careful with weary knees & the spiral stairs. The back patio sets you among the trees and relaxes you with the birds singing and wind swirling above. Our best day planning and ideas happened on the patio. My main highlight was the kitchen. They had everything I needed to make pancakes, sausages, and eggs with quality stainless steel cookware. Food storage containers provided helped to pack our meals for the hike to save space. Very thoughtful. The beds were comfortable and sturdy, with warm, soft linens. A nice touch they added was placing electronic candles by the bed for perfect lighting to find your way to the bathroom. Ive found my best Whitefish retreat!

Great place, very close to Whitefish Mountain Resort and right in the pines. We really loved the cabin feel in the pines and the pools; the hot tub was the kids favorite and very nice. Be aware that the walls are very thin and you will hear every step your neighbors take. This was especially hard when one neighbor checked in really late and then the other check out very early. We did it get a lot of sleep that night.

Great cabin on the mountain. Easy check-in, great communication with host. Especially loved the free ride up the ski lift and private beach on Whitefish lake. Excellent place, would stay again.

We were in town for a wedding, didnt use any amenities on site! We stayed for 3 days. It did what we needed to do and it was comfortable and very peaceful. Compared to other prices in the area for what we were there for it was well worth it. Everyone slept comfortable, showered well, had room to get ready. Temperature was perfect. Surrounded with nature and trees up on the mountain.

Our family had a really great time here. our only regret is not being able to stay longer. Great nearby mountain biking trails, close to Glacier. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the pool and sauna.

Everything was great other than the BBQ, which seemed to not work properly. It would get very hot, so it took a long time to cook our food. It may have been user error, though.

Our stay at Ptarmigans Airbnb was nothing short of enchanting. From the moment we stepped foot into this cozy haven, we were embraced by a sense of warmth and tranquility that mirrored the surrounding natural beauty. The location was a perfect balance between convenience and exploration. Just a short ten-minute drive away from downtown, Whitefish, we could easily immerse ourselves in the local culture and flavors. And lets not forget the proximity to the west entrance of Glacier National Park a mere 40-minute drive that opened the gateway to breathtaking vistas and unforgettable hiking trails. It truly felt like we were in the heart of adventure. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the inviting outdoor pool. A serene oasis where we could unwind and bask in the gentle Montana sun. Each dip felt like a rejuvenating embrace, washing away the worries of the world and allowing us to simply be present in the moment. We will be back xoxo

This place was the perfect location for my family and me to stay. The beds were soft with extra pillows, lots of soft towels (bring your own swim towels), the AC was much appreciated, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the keyless entry made things very easy. We ended up booking with other family members and we were placed very close together which made the week stay even more enjoyable. My family took advantage of the hot tub and swimming pool. My questions were answered quickly. There were books to read, games to play, and puzzles if you want to stay in. But was close enough to Glacier National Park that we went there every single day. Gas stations, grocery stores, a beautiful lake close by, and lots to see and do in the area. Just a really great place to stay. You can bet we will be back if we are ever in the neighborhood. Very clean and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Very clean bathrooms and had plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. Neighbors followed the rules and it was quiet after 10pm, was very peaceful. We arrived after office hours and the check in directions were very clear however they gave us the wrong key but we were still able to get in because the door wasnt locked. We came in and went to bed and stopped by the office the next morning to switch keys. We considered it a simple misunderstanding and it did not affect our plans in any way. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were very clean and well maintained. Didnt use the tennis court or laundry. Had 2 lights go out and reported it and they were promptly replaced. There is an after hours number to call and they were very pleasant and helped me because I forgot the code to the pool. The entire property was very nice and maintained. We really enjoyed their private beach access and was a highlight. We wil be back!!!

We had a wonderful time. Pool and hot tub were very clean and updated. The shower downstairs in our unit did not work but the bath did so we made do. The beds were very hard but otherwise everything was everything we needed and could ask for!
