For Renters
  • chevron_rightDo you allow pets?
We are sorry, but we do not allow pets. We are in bear territory. Bear sightings have been noted in our area.
Pets make bears extremely dangerous as they will go after your pet, which will lead the bear straight to you.
  • chevron_rightShould I make reservations on third-party sites?
You may book on Airbnb, Home Away, VRBO or others.
However, we encourage you to book directly with us to avoid their service fees.
Call us at 406-862-3594 to speak to a real person!

That is a personal decision. Travel insurance may reimburse you if you cancel for one of their covered reasons. Please do your research, and visits sites like Allianz Travel Insurance  for more details.
Note: Ptarmigan Village is not affiliated with any travel insurance companies.

Exceeding the maximum occupancy is not allowed.
It will result in evictions for guests and violations and fines for owners.
Village Information
  • chevron_rightWhat should I bring?
    • CLOTHING:  Bring layers, like long-sleeved shirts, weather proof jackets, and shoes appropriate for your activity. The weather is different on top of the mountain and in Glacier than it is in town.
    • FOOD:  Be prepared to supply all food items, including oil, butter, cream, coffee and ice, which are not stocked due to safety regulations.
    • EQUIPMENT:  A personal water bottle and backpack are useful. Rentals are available for sports like skiing/snowboarding, fishing, golf, tennis, pickleball and others. Our office also rents bear spray, which we recommend for hikes here and in Glacier National Park.
  • chevron_rightWhat do we do if we lose the pool card?
If your pool card is lost, damaged, or not returned to the condominium, you will be charged a replacement and administrative fee.
  • chevron_rightWhen are quiet hours?
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Owners and guests are asked to avoid loud music or excessive noise. Disruptive behavior during these times may result in a violation notice and fine for owners or  immediate eviction without refund for guests.
  • chevron_rightDo you charge for housekeeping?
After owners or guests check out, we are required by state law to use a licensed housekeeping service.
Housekeeping fees are applied to all guest reservations and are billed to all owners following their stay.
Additional housekeeping services may be available for an additional charge.
For stays longer than 10 nights, we suggest arranging a mid-stay cleaning.
  • chevron_rightDoes the village have internet and streaming?
The Village has WIFI in the Pool House, Laundromat and Office buildings.
For renters, owners must supply internet and/or streaming TV services within their units, which most do.
Please note: Services may interrupted during your stay due to provider issues, equipment problems, or mountain weather conditions beyond our control.
